Happy (early) Halloween, Jessica and welcome to planDisney where we love nothing more than helping guests create devilish fun!
Jessica, I love this question because
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of my favorite events of the year, and in fact, some of my planDisney besties and I will be dressing up and enjoying this party later in October.
While I haven't attended this year, every year that my family has gone, there have been Cast Members waiting a few steps from the entrance turnstiles beginning at 4:00 PM so that you can get your wristband for the party quickly after you enter the park. (You'll notice that the Cast Members handing out wristbands wear party-themed outfits!) Then you and your group will have a few hours to enjoy
Magic Kingdom Park before the (not-so) frightening festivities begin!
planDisney tip: If you are hoping to experience the newest attraction at Magic Kingdom Park during Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party: TRON Lightcycle / Run, you'll need to purchase an Individual Lightning Lane or join the Virtual Queue at 6:00 PM sharp. This attraction currently does not have a standby line. Now Jessica, after you have checked in and received your wristband, make sure to grab a party map when you enter so you'll know where to find character meet-and-greets and times for special entertainment like the Sanderson Sisters! You'll also find an assortment of
Halloween-themed treats around Magic Kingdom Park. Some are available anytime and some only during party hours. Personally, I'll be headed to the churro cart near Cinderella Castle for the Jack and Sally cake pops and over to
Sleepy Hollow for the Char Siu Chicken Wings.
No matter how you fill your hours, I hope you have a terrifyingly terrific time! And... if you have any additional questions, just follow
the Headless Horseman back to planDisney.
