Boo to You, Abigail, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
My family attended
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party earlier this year, and we had a spook-tacular time – “it’s good to be bad” from time to time, right?!
I have a reputation for loving to dress up, and I love it even more when I’m at Walt Disney World! We had such fun deciding upon costumes and going to the parks in our Halloween disguises. My son dressed as King Elsa, and he had an icy blast with all the Cast Members who praised his costume and creativity. I painted my own face, and let me tell you: your question makes me want to go back, because I was a dripping mess of sweaty, melty face paint. WHY didn’t I think of using the Walt Disney World face paint artists, whose magical face paint formula seems to be sweat-proof,
and who will touch up your face paint for free?!
I checked in with a Cast Member, who confirmed that the face painting kiosk in Magic Kingdom Park will be open on party nights until 10:00 p.m. The kiosk is located in Tomorrowland near Space Mountain, and in my experience the cost of face painting ranges from $12-20 per person, depending on the design.
Happy haunting at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Abigail. Make sure you check out all the
special entertainment, attraction overlays, and the characters in their Halloween costumes. My family had a ghoulishly good time dancing with the crew from Monstropolis at the Scream-o-Ween Dance Party, and the Hocus Pocus Villain Spell-tacular totally put a spell on us.
Wishing you a magical vacation, and a (sing it with me) Happy Halloween!
