Welcome, foolish mortal! Chris, might I be the first to wish you a Happy Halloween! While the garland, lights, and Christmas trees have just been put away, it is never too soon to begin thinking about Halloween at Disney World!
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of my family's favorites! For us, Halloween begins when the Headless Horseman makes his haunting ride through
Magic Kingdom Park!
If past practice is an indicator of the future, then Guests with Disney World reservations will be able to purchase tickets for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party before they go on sale to everyone else. For example, last year, tickets went on sale for Guests with pre-existing vacation reservations on May 15, 2025. Public sale tickets were available a week later, on May 22, 2025. While we don’t know sale dates for 2026, you can expect them to be around the same time. Check the
Disney Parks Blog and
Walt Disney World Resort website this spring for up-to-date information.
Chris, here is a PRO TIP for you! While Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party typically begins at 7:00 PM, Guests with tickets for this “spirited” soiree can enter Magic Kingdom Park at 4:00 PM! If this benefit is still available in 2026 (and I imagine it will be), I strongly encourage you to take advantage of that extra time! It is well worth it! Also, as a bonus PRO TIP, Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade usually runs twice during the Halloween party. I recommend going on rides during the first showing and then attending the second late-night showing. The second showing is usually (a little) less crowded.
Dreams do come true!
