Boo to you, Veronica!
Thanks for dropping into planDisney. We are always dying to answer fellow Guests’ Disney vacation planning questions. I especially love
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom Park. And I just know that you will be frightfully delighted to partake in the fun, too.
The boo-tiful thing about some of the Disney Parks after-hours events is that you get extra time during the normal operating hours. You can absolutely tap into the magic as early as 4 p.m. EST on your Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party date. Because this special ticket is dated, you do not need a theme park reservation or a regular theme park ticket to enter Magic Kingdom Park after 4 p.m.
Now, here’s the fun part: Yes, you will be able to ride attractions as soon as you scan into the Mickey-shaped touch points. If you want an early visit to the Haunted Mansion or take a peppy ride through “it’s a small world,” you are welcome to do so. It seems that
TRON Lightcycle / Run and
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will switch over to standby queues once the party officially starts, but before then you would have needed a
Virtual Queue boarding group that is only available at 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. for Guests with daytime theme park tickets.
AN EXTRA GEM: Some of the rides have a special twist that is just for the party hours. My kiddo’s favorite is the pitch-black adventure through Space Mountain. It’s already a thrilling attraction, but the lights-out version is something you won’t forget. Even with the earlier theme park entry, my family likes to wait to do the special attractions like this one, Mad Tea Party, and Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor.
Veronica, you’re in for a not-so-spooky time! It will be a night full of trick-or-treating, happy haunts, and laughs. If you have any other questions about your upcoming experience,
revisit us here at planDisney.
Magic always,
LeAndra
