Going to the Mickey's Merry Xmas Party, does anyone know if the parade is first?? I have young children and I am not sure how long they will stay up. Also, where is the best spot to watch the parade? If it is very crowded - how will lil kids see?

    Hi Sherry!

The "Mickey's Once Upon A Time" parade is shown twice during the Christmas party. The first showing is at 8:15 and the second is at 10:30. The first parade is followed by "Holiday Wishes" which is a really amazing fireworks display.

The second parade is usually much less crowded, but with small children I can understand that it would be hard to hang around for that one. The 8:15 parade begins in Frontierland and good spots can be found there. The only thing about watching the parade from Frontierland is that you won't see the castle in the background, but the upside is that you won't have to claim your spot as far in advance as those who watch from Mainstreet. In order to get a front row spot, I would suggest claiming your space at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the parade. If you have a stroller, you can use it to help save your spot while one adult waits and the other can take the kids on a ride or two so they aren't kept waiting too long.

In addition to the parade and fireworks, there are dance parties and Christmas stage shows around the park. There are also cookies and hot chocolate available for free, and it even snows on Mainstreet.

I hope this helps! Have a wonderful time at the party!
