    Is Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party worthwhile, I.e. Buying the add'l tix, and for a 2 year old and 8 year old?

    Greeting Francesca, thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I have a 7 year old daughter and we both love attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. 

    Christmastime is a very busy at Walt Disney World and crowds during the day can make wait times for attractions pretty long.  Something I love about the party is that the crowds are much lower.  Most attractions will have minimal to no wait times which is so much fun.  Your children will be able to ride their favorite attractions over and over again.  There are also several character meet and greets during the party and they will also have lower wait times than during the regular park hours. There are even special meet and greets with characters like all of the 7 Dwarfs that you are only able to see during the party.  You will also be able to see a special parade and firework show while you enjoy complimentary cookies and hot cocoa.  Kids also love seeing it snow on Main Street U.S.A.  The party has a lot of benefits to it and not to mention it is just plain fun.  I absolutely think that the party is worth spending the money on, at least once.

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
