Hi Kristen,
You must be on Santa's nice list because you get to visit Walt Disney World Resort during the very merriest season of all! Not only that, but you've scored tickets to the biggest holiday party of them all -
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom Park. Be sure to grab some complimentary hot cocoa and cookies to enjoy while waiting for Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade to start.
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a special ticket event, which means that you do not need a separate theme park reservation to enter Magic Kingdom Park. As such, the party ticket is found in the "Tickets and Passes" section of the
My Disney Experience mobile app (three small lines at the bottom right of the home page --> Tickets and Passes) as opposed to the "Future Plans" section like the rest of your theme park reservations. If you'd like to see this event in your itinerary, my recommendation is to insert it manually as a note in My Disney Experience. Here's how:
1. Click "Add More Plans," which is found to the right of the "My Itinerary" tab on the
plans page of your My Disney Experience account (online, not in the app).
2. Select "Notes" from the dropdown menu.
3. Enter the date and time of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, the location, and any other details you don't want to forget. Kindly note that the party begins at 7:00 p.m. but Guests can enter Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4:00 p.m.
4. Click "Add Note," refresh the webpage and/or the app, and the event will automagically appear on your itinerary.
Your question reminded me to complete these steps for my own Christmas party later this month. They worked like a charm and I even added a "thanks Kristen" detail to my note. Guests helping Guests - that's the magic of planDisney!
I hope you have a holly jolly time at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, Kristen. In addition to your party ticket, you'll need a
method of entry (MagicBand, MagicBand+, Disney MagicMobile pass, or admission card).
Choose magic,
Jennifer
