    Does Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party have a schedule? We would like to attend with our granddaughters, ages 3 and 6 and are concerned about the late midnight hour. Are the parade, fireworks and snow early in the evening? Thank you.

    Hi Sandra,

    You're an awesome Grandmother to plan ahead for your Granddaughter's to enjoy Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP) at the Magic Kingdom!

    The official times for MVMCP is 7:00 p.m. to midnight on select evenings. Although they haven't released the schedule for the parades & fireworks for the 2011 dates, here is the schedule from the 2010 dates:

    * Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade: 8:15 p.m. & 10:30 p.m.
    * Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season Fireworks: 9:30 p.m.
    * "A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas" Show: 7:45 p.m., 8:45 p.m., 9:55 p.m., 10:50 p.m. & 11:45 p.m.
    * "Celebrate the Season" Show on the Castle Forecourt Stage: 7:45 p.m., 10:05 p.m. & 11:20 p.m.
    * Character Dance Parties at the Diamond Horseshoe in Liberty Square, Cosmic Rays in Tomorrowland throughout the party
    * Character Meet & Greets take place from 7:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.

    Although I can't guarantee it, I would expect this year's schedule to be very close to last year's.  Be sure to pick up an official MVMCP Guide when you enter the Magic Kingdom to confirm this year's schedule of events. In the past, I've seen scanned copies of the special event maps posted on unofficial Disney websites within hours of the first night of the event. November 8th is this year's first event.

    I'd recommend a low key day before you attend MVMCP that evening. Make sure your Granddaughter's get a good long nap.  That way they'll be full of energy and raring to go.

    Wishing you many magical holiday memories :-) Allison
