Is Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party only offered at WDW, or is it also offered at Disneyland Resort?

    Hiya, Rocky!

Thank you so much for sending another wonderful Disneyland Resort vacation planning question our way!

It seems like you're gEARing up for the holidays, and I can't think of a jollier place to celebrate than at The Happiest Place on Earth! Well, maybe the North Pole, but this is a really good backup option. Yes, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a separately ticketed event just at Mickey's Florida home of Walt Disney World Resort. Disneyland Resort played around with something kind of similar and just as festive last yEAR, but it sadly did not return.

While it might seem like a bit of a bummer that these two parks don't share this tradition, you might actually like the way Disneyland Resort celebrates the Holiday time even better. Unlike the party, which requires a separate ticket and is only open from 7:00 P.M. until Midnight, the holly jolly festivities at Disneyland Park are included with your standard Theme Park Admission Ticket. This means that you'll get to experience the famous "A Christmas Fantasy Parade", characters decked out in their winter costumes, the holiday fireworks show 'Believe ... In Holiday Magic', and even snow on Main Street U.S.A. all day long and without having to purchase an extra pass!

The festive times don't stop at just Disneyland Park; Disney California Adventure Park has plenty of merriment too! The nighttime fountain show World of Color gets into the spirit of the season with World of Color - Season of Light and even Cars Land sends 'Seasons Speedings' well wishes with its colorful car part decor and more. But my hands down favorite in this park is the Disney Festival of Holidays. You'll find everything from traditional performances and celebratory music from cultures around the world, to tasty holiday treats of all kinds at the Marketplaces.

I am so sorry that this wasn't the answer you were sEARching for, Rocky, but I hope that it was even better news than you thought you'd get! Be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog as they'll soon release all kinds of info about what you can expect during this season, including treats, eats, and sweets. You can even follow them on your social media accounts so you'll be sure to never miss a story!
