I am going to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at MK on Nov. 17. I've heard that the Christmas tree on Main Street traditionally is not set up until the first week in December due to the taping of the Christmas Day parade. Is this correct?

Hi Linda! You are correct in that the Main Street tree is often not up until after the Christmas parade is finished taping. Every year can be different but that has been the case for the past few years. Although this great tree is beautiful there is so much to see in the park that you likely won't even miss it if you didn't know where it stands normally. If this is important to you then perhaps you can delay a visit until after the taping. Everything else should be up and running except the tree so it is a tough decision.
