Hi Moms. Does Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party last through New Year's? We plan on visiting NYE 2014 and am hoping to participate. Thanks

    Hi Tracy ~

We love spending New Year's Eve at Disney World!  Nothing like a little magic to start off a New Year.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP) is held at the Magic Kingdom in early November up until about a week before Christmas. The 2013 MVMCP events are being held on select evenings beginning November 8th - December 20th.

Typically (I can't say for sure what they'll do for 2014 yet), starting the day after the last MVMCP for the season, Guests visiting the Magic Kingdom will be able to enjoy some of the things that, up until that time, will only be offered during MVMCP. For example, this year Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade will run in the afternoon December 21st through December 31st, 2013 instead of the Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade. Holiday Wishes - Celebrate the Spirit of the Season will be the featured nighttime extravaganza December 21st through December 31st, 2013.

If you want to attend a MVMCP event, you'll need to plan to visit Disney no later than a week before Christmas. No worries though, there is always a lot of excitement in the parks on New Year's Eve.

Please feel free to visit us with all of your questions as you plan your 2014 trip. We're hEAR to help!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
