Hello to all of Mickey's Helpers! We are coming Apr 1-6, staying at Contemp.- have ADR for Mickey's Backyard BBQ at 6:30. WIll we have time to make it to the start of Chip & Dale's Campfire? What's the fastest way to get there from FW Pavilion? Thanks

    Hi there Kelli!

You are going to love Mickey's Backyard Barbeque at the Fort Wilderness Pavilion! Dancing with Mickey, Minnie and Friends while enjoying an all-you-care-to-eat buffet of picnic food items is a fabulous way to end a Disney day! This special event begins at 6:30pm and ends at 8pm.

Beginning in April through the summer months, the Chip 'n' Dale "Sing-a-Long" and campfire will begin around 8pm and is located at the Meadow Recreation Area's outdoor theater. The programs lasts about 40 minutes and is followed by a viewing of a classic Disney movie.

Simply check out this map on the Disney website of the Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground for specifics on walking from one venue location to another. Based on the distance, you may wish to consider arriving slightly late to the campfire program or leaving the barbeque about 15 minutes early.

Thanks for taking the time to visit us at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel and feel free to send more questions our way in the days leading up to your trip! May your Disney vacation be practically perfect in every way!
