Hello, Erika! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Yay! I am thrilled that you will be experiencing
Mickey’s Halloween Party for the first time! There is so much fun to be had that it may just end up becoming a family tradition to attend the party every year. Your Mickey’s Halloween Party ticket grants you entry to both parks beginning three hours before the start of the party. So feel free to enjoy Disney California Adventure Park for a bit before hopping over to Disneyland Park for the actual party. Or get to trick-or-treating right away at the pre-party that takes place in Mickey’s Toontown an hour or two before the start of the party.
If your little ones will be wearing tiny costumes as well, then you absolutely must stop and take adorable photos around the park. Downloads of all your
PhotoPass photos captured during the party are included with your Mickey’s Halloween Party ticket so stop at every PhotoPass photographer you see! Since the party is a limited-ticket event, waits for attractions tend to be a little shorter than average. So take this opportunity to ride some attractions with your little ones like The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Pirates of the Caribbean, Alice in Wonderland, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, and many more. Any attraction that does not have a height requirement is available for your family to ride.
Finally, if the children fall asleep and are content in a stroller, then you and your cousin might want to stay to see the Frightfully Fun Parade and the Halloween Screams fireworks. Both entertainment options are exclusive to the party and definitely the highlights of the night. Have a spooktacular time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
