For Mickey's Halloween Party do we need to have paid for a Disneyland Ticket on top of the ticket for Mickey's Halloween Party?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sylvia. Thanks for stopping by!

You do not need to purchase a one-day Disneyland Park admission ticket, in addition to a Mickey's Halloween Party ticket to enjoy the party. Depending on the date, Mickey's Halloween Party begins at either 6 pm or 7 pm. Guests with only a ticket to Mickey's Halloween Party will be given a bracelet to wear and allowed to enter Disneyland Park 3 hours prior to the start of the party. They are welcome to enjoy the entire park during these 3 hours. Once the party begins, Cast Members will be checking Guests for their Mickey's Halloween Party bracelets and gradually directly non-party goers towards park exit.

Of course, if 3 hours prior to the start of Mickey's Halloween Party isn't enough, you can always purchase a one-day ticket to play at Disneyland Park during the day. One year, my family enjoyed the day at Disney California Adventure Park before hopping over to Disneyland Park prior to the start of Mickey's Halloween Party. It was a full day of Disney fun, and we ended the night with yummy treats and countless photos with our favorite Disney characters dressed in costumes!

I hope this information is helpful for you. I wish you and your family a Spook-tacular time at Mickey's Halloween Party. Please visit us on the Panel again if you have further questions.

    Have a magical day,

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
