Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Richard! How exciting to be spending the holidays at Walt Disney World.
Advanced Dining Reservations can be made 180 days in advance of the date that you want to reserve, even when you are staying off property. On June 9, at 7am EST, you will be able to begin making dining reservations. Since you will be staying off property, you will need to visit the Disney website each day beginning June 9th to secure dining reservations for your entire visit.
In years past, guests who are attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party have been able to enter the
Magic Kingdom as early as 4pm. No word has been released yet if this will be allowed this year, but I sure hope Mickey allows this to happen. If guests with tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party are allowed access into the Magic Kingdom beginning at 4pm, securing an
Advanced Dining Reservation for 6pm at The Crystal Palace is practically perfect. Enjoying dinner before the party officially begins at 7pm puts you inside the magic right on time. If for some reason early access is not allowed for Mickey's holiday bash, a regular theme park ticket will be required to enter the park for dinner before the party begins. Be sure to check back with us here or
the Disney Parks Blog about the specific time that guests will be able to enter the Magic Kingdom.
Richard, I would suggest to go ahead and reserve your dining reservations when the date opens and if you need to cancel or modify, you can.
Have a holly, jolly magical time at Walt Disney World. Please visit with us again soon if you have more questions.
