Is the Mickey's Backyard BBQ worth the 2 dinners on the dining plan?

    Hi Cathy!

    This is a great question.

In general, I don't think it's a great value to use two Disney Dining credits on any single meal.  However, that's obviously necessary if you want to dine in some of the restaurants, including Mickey's Backyard BBQ.  I will say that Mickey's Backyard BBQ is a lot of fun, especially if you like country music and something akin to line dancing.  I wrote "something akin" because it is mostly children on the dance floor and they really just dance however they want to!  Children who love to dance and want a chance to dance in close proximity to Disney characters will have fun.  Parents who love country music, watching children dance, and who like typical BBQ food will have fun.  I did this a couple of years ago with a large group of people and we all had fun.  The overall experience lasted a couple of hours and I think every one of us said that we would love to do it again.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
