Mickeys backyard BBQ...is it possible to use 1 dinner credit for it and pay out of pocket the additional cost?

Howdy, Brandi! It's a real treat to see you again here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I hope we can help you plan a rootin' tootin' good time at the Walt Disney World Resort!

Mickey's Backyard BBQ has offered up its final servings of food and fun at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. The show officially ended its run on December 31, 2018, to accommodate construction of a brand new Resort hotel on the property, Reflections - A Disney Lakeside Lodge.

But don't you fret, Brandi! If it's hand-clappin', knee-slappin' fun you're looking for, the popular Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is a great choice. This dinner show requires two credits from your Disney Dining Plan or Deluxe Disney Dining Plan, and you'll need to either use the two credits or pay for the meal entirely out of pocket.

Another option when you're hankering for some of the best food this side of the mighty Mississippi is Trail's End Restaurant, located right next to the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue in Pioneer Hall. This all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet features down-home fare for breakfast and dinner, with a weekend brunch also available. My family loves eating here, so it's a must-do for us anytime we stay at "the Fort." Plus, the Trail's End buffet is a bargain at only one credit on your Disney Dining Plan!

I hope this whets your appetite for some country classics, Brandi. Have a rip-roarin' time on your next visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, and do come see us again with another question, ya hear?

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
