    How would I get to Mickey's Backyard BBQ if we are not staying at the campground?

    You can get to all other resorts from the one you are staying at by catching a bus to a theme park, water park, or Downtown Disney and then transferring to the Fort Wilderness bus.  This does take a bit of extra time but in general I always suggest that you just hop on the first bus you get and transfer at whatever park that is.  You did not mention what resort you would be coming from but if you are at one of the Magic Kingdom resorts you can transfer easily either at the Magic Kingdom park or the Transportation and Ticket Center.  There is also a boat ferry from the Magic Kingdom.
