Mickey's Backyard bbq @ 6:30. How long does it last and should we try to do something after. If so, what?

    Hi Shannon!

My kids love Mickey's Backyard BBQ!  In fact, it's their all-time favorite dinner show at Disney.  Your family is going to have a great time.  We usually stay for about an hour and a half, but the show goes on for about two hours.  If the Magic Kingdom is open late on the day you visit the BBQ, this is a good choice of park to visit post-show if you have any energy left.  I have to warn you though, after a night of dancing with Mickey and pals, my kids usually have to be carted out on our shoulders!  To get to the Magic Kingdom from "the Fort" you'll just need to board a boat from the campground.  It's a quick trip over.  If you are there on a night when the Electric Water Pageant is running, you can see this from the beach at the campground.  This is a more low-key way to end your day.

Whatever you chose, have a great night!
