    Will Mickey's Back Yard BBQ at the campsites still be operating the late December?

    Welcome back, Travis! 

    Thank you for sending us your rootin'-tootin' question regarding Mickey's Backyard BBQ. This character dining experience is surely a unique opportunity to dance and swing with Mickey and the gang. 

    Due to the open air venue, Mickey's Backyard BBQ does close from mid-December through March; the early darkness of winter and cooler temperatures allow Mickey to take a BBQ hiatus. 

    A great replacement suggestion I have if Mickey is your man would be Chef Mickey's Funtime Buffet at Disney's Contemporary Resort. If dinner and a show is what you're looking for, check out Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, also available at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.
