Hello, Brian thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.
Fun outside the parks is always an important part of every visit to the
Walt Disney World Resort. There are a bunch of great things to do including visits to Disney Springs for some shopping and great food. If you are enjoying a day outside of the parks I would love to talk about my favorite activity besides shopping.
Disney's Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf Course. There are two levels here one for the beginner at the Gardens but the fairways are a little tougher and can take near 90 minutes to complete. It is a challenge even for real golfers, and I consider myself to be at least half of the time I play golf.
When you visit
Disney Springs you will want to head towards Town Center to locate it. On the last couple of visits, I found the coveted Mickey Mouse balloons right in Town Center. If you aren't able to locate them there you will be able to locate them somewhere in the vicinity with my experience. If you do plan on visiting a park you can always find these magical floating Mickey balloons on Main Street U.S.A inside of
Magic Kingdom Park. While you are on the hunt at Disney Springs if you do not see the balloons right away keep looking, sometimes the person floats around the property. A favorite place for me to visit is near the biggest Disney store in the world,
World of Disney.
Amorette's Patisserie Macarons call my name from the moment I enter the Lime Parking Garage. These are amongst the freshest macarons I have ever had in my life. If you are a fan of macarons please visit this location. This bakery has more than that in terms of sweets. They serve sandwiches and even adult beverages.
I hope this information is useful for planning your visit to Disney Springs. Visit us again anytime for more tips and advice at
