Is Mickey Mouse always inside of his house? I want to guarantee a picture with him. I've looked at the app for his schedule but worried that our breakfast/dinner plans will interfere with lines.

Hi, Courtney! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

No Disneyland Resort vacation is complete without a photo with Mickey Mouse, in my opinion. Mickey meets most consistently in his house in Mickey’s Toontown so that might be the easiest way to guarantee a photo with him. Don’t be too worried about the wait time because after you tour his adorable house, you will be led into Mickey’s Movie Barn where you will watch Mickey cartoons and enjoy the air conditioning while you wait to meet Mickey. In my experience, the line moves rather quickly. You can also meet the big cheese in Town Square in Disneyland Park and along Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure Park throughout the day. The Disneyland app will be your best tool for locating Mickey and other favorite characters during your visit.

Another way to guarantee a picture with Mickey is to book a character meal. He appears at Mickey’s Tales of Adventure Breakfast Buffet at Storytellers Café and at Goofy’s Kitchen during dinner. Both meals are super fun, feature delicious buffets, and you’ll meet a few of Mickey’s friends as well. Reservations for these meals can be made up to 60 days in advance online or by calling (714) 781-3463.

I hope this helps! Have a fabulous time meeting Mickey at the Happiest Place on Earth!
