    Mickey very merry Christmas tips

    Hi Kim,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thanks for sending us this excellent question.

My family really LOVES Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. This special event at Magic Kingdom Park can be best described as the festive Christmas season getting gift wrapped in Disney magic! It is our absolute favorite holiday event at the Walt Disney World Resort.

The oh-so-jolly Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, featuring giant toy soldiers marching down Main Street U.S.A., is not to be missed! Your family will have access to meet-and-greet opportunities with Disney Characters donning their holiday best – including some rare appearances too. There is also live entertainment, dance parties and complementary holiday treats being served throughout the evening. The entire theme park smells like hot chocolate and gingerbread. It gets to snow on Main Street U.S.A. while Cinderella Castle shimmers; and the holiday fireworks will leave you absolutely breathless!

I suggest purchasing tickets as soon as possible. They do limit the amount of Guests at the Magic Kingdom Park during the event. Parties DO sell out very quickly. On party nights, the park closes to regular-ticket holders at 7:00 p.m. I recommend arriving late afternoon, or early in the evening. You'll find that attraction lines are often much shorter than usual, so that too makes the evening quite magical!

I hope this information was useful, Kim. Please come back to visit us with more Disney vacation planning questions.

Wishing you a most memorable holiday at the place where The Magic is Endless!
