When the Mickey Halloween party is going is the park still open to those that just have a regular park ticket or is it only open for those w/ the special ticket?

    Hi Molly!

Mickey's Halloween Party held in the Disneyland Park is such a fun way to spend a fall evening. This year it is exciting to know that your party ticket will allow you to visit both the Disneyland Park as well as the California Adventure park. There will be five hours of trick or treating as well as experiencing the attractions and meeting all the ghoulish characters and more. It is especially great that you can enter the parks three hours before party time so you can fit in a meal or get a few more attractions done or shopping early.

Only those guests who have purchased the special Mickey's Halloween Party ticket will be allowed to stay in the parks once the party has started. This fall it will start at either 6pm or 7pm. Day guests will be asked to leave and only those with party tickets can enjoy the festivities in the parks. A big draw is the parade and fireworks. Last year they added one of the most popular events at Walt Disney World and that is the Headless Horseman. He will trot through the park each party evening surprising those waiting for the parade.

Disney will limit the number of party tickets sold so the park is never over crowded on these evenings. I suggest you simply purchase the party ticket for that day and arrive three hours early and enjoy an almost full day of fun!
