    We are going to the mickey halloween party for the first time and am wondering how exactly it works? We all got fun costumes and are excited! Do you trick or treat in the park? If so where? Should we bring bags?

    Welcome foolish mortal ~

    Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is my absolute favorite special event at the Magic Kingdom and I'm counting down the days until I go again this yEAR! I love all of the creative costumes that Guests wear.

    Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is held from 7 p.m. - midnight. Guests can typically enter the Magic Kingdom earlier but the special events will not begin until 7 p.m. As you enter the park, you will be given a wristband, a special event Guide Map, and a trick-or-treat bag. You're welcome to bring your own bag if you wish. There are several treat locations that will be marked on the event map.

    Here is a schedule for the special events (this is subject to change in the event of inclement weather):
    * Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular on the Castle Forecourt Stage - 8:15 p.m., 10:45 p.m., and 12:00 a.m.
    * Mickey's "Boo-To-You" Halloween Parade - 9:15 p.m. and 11:15 p.m. - the Headless Horseman and the Grave Diggers are my favorite!
    * Happy HalloWishes Fireworks - 10:15 p.m.
    * Monstrous Scream-O-Ween Ball on the Rockettower Plaza Stage - 7:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.

    There are character meet and greets throughout the park including some very RARE ones like Jack Skellington and Sally, Moana, and all of the Seven Dwarfs together. Look for the Cadaver Dans performing in Frontierland. Take advantage of the Hex-clusive Disney PhotoPass Ops. There are some frightfully delightful desserts available for purchase at some of the dining locations. These will be listed on the special event guide map.

    We're limited in space but please feel free to visit again. Wishing you minnie spooktacular memories :-) Allison V.
