Hey there, Amanda! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I really enjoyed
Goofy’s Kitchen the last time we dined there! I was actually kind of blown away by the vast variety of delicious food options that were perfect for both kids and adults. Typically, breakfast at Goofy’s Kitchen doesn’t feature Mickey. If you choose to eat dinner here, however, then Chef Mickey is definitely part of the fun. While character appearances are subject to change without notice and are never guaranteed, we met Mickey and posed for a picture as we entered the restaurant for our dinner reservation and then Goofy, Pluto, Chip, Dale, and Minnie all visited our table. Sometimes you will meet Goofy when you enter the restaurant and then Mickey will make the rounds while you dine.
If you want to dine with the big cheese in the morning, then book a breakfast reservation at
Storytellers Café in Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa. Mickey’s Tales of Adventure Breakfast Buffet takes place daily where you will also experience an expansive breakfast buffet and meet with Mickey and his pals while you dine. There is also a weekend character brunch option on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
No matter which meal you choose, advanced dining reservations are highly recommended. They can be made online or by calling (714) 781-3463 up to 60 days in advance.
I hope your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth is full of memories, magic, and Mickey waffles!
