If I use the Mickey and friends transit for mobility scooter service will I have to pay a parking fee or is it free like the Toy Story parking lot?

Greetings, Carrie, and welcome to planDisney! Your visit to Disneyland is just around the corner – can you already smell the sweet churros and hear the Dapper Dans harmonizing? Of course, getting to the park is the first part of your adventure – let's talk about it!

Carrie, complimentary transportation to the Main Entrance Esplanade is provided from the Mickey & Friends and Pixar Pals parking structures and the Toy Story Parking Area. Guests can use the tram service from the Mickey & Friends or Pixar Pals parking structures. There is also a Shuttle Service available for Guests with mobility devices. As you are likely aware, buses provide transportation from the Toy Story Parking area.

If you're driving to the Disneyland Resort, please note that standard parking rates apply at all parking lots. There are plenty of accessible parking spaces at each of the three locations. One of the differences at the parking structures is that you may have to wait for the elevator depending on the time of day. There might also be a slightly longer distance from the car to the connecting transportation and then to the main entrance compared to the Toy Story Parking area.

Carrie, have you had a chance to experience the fun of the 70th Anniversary Celebration yet? There is fantastic entertainment both during the day and at night, as well as festive food options, vibrant decorations, and exclusive merchandise. In fact, there are multiple merchandise collections, each with a different theme and style. I like them all, but I'm particularly fond of the 70th Anniversary Walt Disney Nostalgia Collection.

Speaking of Walt Disney, a new cinematic and Audio-Animatronics experience is coming to the Main Street Opera House starting July 17, 2025. Guests will learn the story of Walt Disney’s life and can imagine they're with him in his office. If your trip spans a few days, you should definitely add this to your list!

Carrie, I hope this information makes your arrival to the Disneyland Resort as smooth as a magic carpet ride! If you haven't already, download the Theme Park Guide Maps for Guests with Disabilities and see if there is any information that may be helpful during your trip. If you have any other questions as you prepare for your visit, please stop by again – we’re always happy to help here at planDisney!

    See ya real soon,
