Hi Michele!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so glad that you found us hEAR!
Okay, this sounds adorable. Every Mouseketeer needs their own set of ears, even those from a galaxy not-so-far away. I asked my fellow panelist and dear friend
Kristin C. if she would mind measuring the head of her son's R-Series Droid and hEAR's what we have: going across the top of his lid (like a headband) the unit is 10", while the circumference around the widest part is 17". The top 3/4ths of this specific part is very dome like, but it does stay the same width for the bottom quarter. Do note that there are a few different kinds of heads styles to choose from when building a new best friend at
Droid Depot, and this one (his name is Builder) looks just like a baby R2D2, complete with two little nodules that jut out of his head just like his famous cousin. If you were thinking that your pal would have a head that was a bit more tapered or flat, do write us back and we'll get back to you with those measurement as well.
Have you thought about what else you'd like to do during your visit to
Batuu and Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, Michele?
Oga's Cantina is still the hippest watering hole around, so do make a reservation. My favorite new meal in all of the parks is the Batuuan Beef Pot Roast at
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo. And don't forget that you can utilize
Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering on this planet too!
I'm so excited for your upcoming Disney Days, Michele. I hope these measurements work out for your wee robot and actually, we really want to see your finished product so tag us (#DisneyMP) if you post a picture online! Thank you again for reaching out to us Michele, and We'll See You Real Soon!
~Kristen
