Hi can I get my Mickey classic ear hat that I already own personalized with my name on it? Or do I have to purchase the hat again in order to have them personalized?

Hey there, hi there, Melissa! Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for bringing us your question!

I love sporting a part of Mickey Ears when I'm in the parks. Unfortunately, Cast Members cannot embroider or personalize items brought into the parks by Guests. Items that are eligible for personalization need to be purchased in the parks that day and proof of receipt is required when you bring it to the station for embroidery. The wait time for personalization will vary, so I always suggest making it a first priority when you enter the parks so that you can have it done as soon as possible. This means you'll have plenty of time in the day to wear your new ears.

The Emporium in Disneyland Park, as well as the Mad Hatter in Fantasyland and on Main Street, U.S.A. have great selections of ears to choose from. If Disney California Adventure Park is your starting park, head into Los Feliz Five & Dime or Oswald's just to the left when you enter the park.

Melissa, I'm sorry I don't have better news for you. Maybe you can find a local embroidery shop that can embroider the ears you already have. That way you save a little or better yet, put that money towards more Disney snacks! See you real soon!
