What is a Mickey Check Meal? I am making my reservations and looking at menus, I have the dining plan with 1 quick 1 sit down and 1 snack. I have noticed some restaurants have "Mickey Check Meals" what are they?

    Hi Heather,

Planning your dining choices can almost be as fun as choosing a Resort hotel ... the options are endless! I know for our family, when we travel to the Walt Disney World Resort we really like to see our children experience different foods other than a standard hot dog or chicken nugget meal. Continuing with Disney's initiative, "The Magic of Healthy Living," guests will now be able to locate healthy choices for their children at various snack carts and dining locations which meet a strict set of nutritional guidelines. The menus have been creatively tailored to appeal to kids, like "orange stuff" for dipping at Be Our Guest Restaurant in New Fantasyland.

Look for the Mickey Check icon on menus and you'll know you're making a wise, healthy (and tasty!) choice for your growing Mouseketeers.

Happy planning, Heather, and thanks for the great question.
