what is a mickey check meal?

    Dear Martina,

That's a great question for the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
    Thanks for stopping by.
Mickey Check is a program designed with a healthy lifestyle in mind. The "Mickey Check" logo can be  found in restaurant menus and snack stands throughout the Disneyland Resort as well as online in stores and other places where Disney products are sold. When you see the Mickey Check, you are looking at a food item or meal that meets Disney nutritional guidelines.
These guidelines are established with the help of nutritional experts and Disney makes sure to update and add items as needed, in order to promote the consumption of healthy foods such as fruits, veggies, lean protein, whole grains and low fat dairy products like low fat milk.
It's a great program that makes things very convenient when ordering meals for children at the Disneyland Resort. I can only speak for myself but I love knowing my son Benny is getting a balanced portion of nutrients when we sit down to eat!

I hope you find this information helpful.
    Have a Magical day!
