    How can I get Mickey to call my kids to tell them about our vacation?

    Hi Susan, 

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question, my fellow Canadian!

    Part of the fun of a Disney Parks vacation is definitely the “reveal”, that is, when you tell your loved ones that they’re going to Walt Disney World Resort! Unfortunately, the “Character Calls” for visits to Walt Disney World Resort, as well as shopDisney’s “Countdown to Fun” packages have been discontinued for the moment. 

    That being said, you do have other options! My friend (and fellow Canadian!) Todd had some great tips for finding a 3rd party provider for these kinds of phone calls, as well as other alternatives. Homemade scavenger hunts and other guessing games can also be a great way to build anticipation and create your very own, personalized countdown to your family’s Disney Parks vacation.
