    Hi Michelle, I've heard that sometimes rides temporarily "break down." What happens if you are waiting in line and this happens?

    That's a very good questions.  It is possible that a ride may stop temporarily for various reason.  I never find it annoying. On the contrary I think of it as a way to get a sneak peek into the stuff they don't want you to see.

    During my last trip, Space Mountain stopped for about five minutes and all the lights that house the ride turned on. I was able to reflect on how our perceptions plays such a big part in our overall experience.  With the lights off and no frame of reference that coaster is much more intense than it appears with the lights on.
