    Hi Michelle! I see that you like to run and jog. We will be going to WDW for the Tower of Terror 5k in October. Have you been in this run? And do you have any advice for a family that will be in a Disney run for the first time

    I have not run the Tower of Terror 5K, but I have run the Expedition Everest Challenge 5K with many of my moms panel friends.  It was similar, both take place at night.  I think your run will be more comfortable since it takes place at the end of October when the weather is a little cooler and drier.

    The only thing that is a little tricky is the registration.  You will need to go to the Wide World of Sports the day before or the day of the race.  If you are taking Disney transportation you will first need to go to Disney's Hollywood Studios.  From there you can get a bus to the Wide World of Sports.  If you have a car with you, it is very easy to drive right to the Wide World of Sports.  You can also get a cab from any resort to the complex.

    The runs at Disney are very well organized.  Take advantage of the bag drop, the pick up is very easy. If you have any little ones in your party sign them up for the kids race.  It is a lot of fun.

    Most importantly remember to wear your race shirt and finishing medal around the parks the next day.  Get your picture taken with some characters for your photo album.
