Hello, We are going on a Mexican Riviera 8 day cruise from Los Angeles, and I was wondering if someone could tell me how many Formal Dinners there are? Thank you so much, Tiffany

    Hi, Tiffany!

Congratulations on your 8-night Mexican Riviera Holiday Cruise on the Disney Wonder! You are in for a treat being on the ship during Christmas!

For Disney cruises which are 7+ nights, there is usually one formal night and one semi-formal night, and they most likely will be on days you are at sea.  The Entertainment Team sometimes likes to mix things up a bit to make each sailing unique -- especially the ones which sail during the holidays.  Yet, I advise not to stress too much with packing for these nights.  The guys can get away with bringing a jacket or sport coat and a couple of collared shirts and maybe a tie -- that will get them through formal and semi-formal nights plus any reservations at Palo.  The ladies can dress up a long sundress with some accessories for formal night and make a pantsuit do double duty on semi-formal night with something sparkly!

I hope this helps you plan.  Let me know if you have more questions as your cruise draws nearer.  I'm also venturing on the 7-night Mexican Riviera itinerary in November and can give you some pointers after I return! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation.

    Bon voyage,

    Andi
