Merrytime sailing for the 1st time. It will also be Chanuka will there be anything onboard as well? Any room delivery items that are not listed currently. Any chance for some latkes with my gingerbread?

    Hi Roberta!

Welcome back to planDisney! I love hearing that you will be setting sail on a Very Merrytime cruise in just a few days. In my humble opinion, there’s no better way to get into the holiday spirit than a Disney cruise.

After checking with my friends at Disney Cruise Line, they did verify that Hanukkah services will be offered from November 28-December 6 at sundown. Another tidbit: you can bring electric candles onboard but cannot use traditional candles onboard because no open flames are allowed. Just in case you were wondering!

Good news! I’m told that latkes will be part of the evening services. Naturally, all events are subject to change and may vary from ship to ship. So check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once onboard for times and locations.

As far as Onboard Gifts, everything available for purchase would already be posted. So I anticipate that there are not as many Hanukkah items available although I have seen a few on the shop Disney website this year!

Roberta, enjoy every second of your holiday voyage and Happy Hanukkah!
