Merry Christmas to all you moms! Thinking Feb. was a low attendence season to visit to WDW - we planned on Jan.31- Feb. 5, 2013. Touringplans.com is calling for a seven for crowd levels - ugg, what did I miss?!? Whats going on at Disney that weekend?

    Hi Jackie,

    Merry Christmas to you too!

You were correct to assume that early February is a great time to visit Walt Disney World.  Temperatures are mild and crowds are smaller than you will encounter throughout the spring.  However, there is so much buzz right now about the exciting new additions to the theme parks (like the re-imagined Test Track in Epcot and New Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom) that guests are showing up in large numbers to see all that is new.  You'll notice on Touring Plans that crowds are estimated to be larger on weekends and will then drop down again mid-week.

Don't let those crowd estimates deter you from having a fabulous visit.  If you plan to arrive when the theme parks open, you'll be able to visit the most sought-after attractions with minimal lines.

    Have fun in February!

    Best wishes,
    Jill
