Hi Julie! Thank you so much for visiting with the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Christmas time is my favorite time of year and spending it at Walt Disney World makes it that much more magical.
You are correct in knowing that early access to the Magic Kingdom has been granted to guests who have a Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party ticket. Guest can enter the theme park as early as 4pm on the day of the party. Entering the theme park earlier than 4pm without a regular theme park ticket isn't available.
If you want to enjoy breakfast at the Magic Kingdom on the day that you will be ringing in the holiday with Mickey and his pals, you will be required to have a regular theme park ticket linked to your My Disney Experience. However, if you secure an Advanced Dining Reservation for any time between 4pm and 6pm, just before the Christmas Party begins, you will be granted access to the
Magic Kingdom.
I would suggest securing an
Advanced Dining Reservation for the theme park that you plan to visit that day. If you don't plan on enjoying any theme parks before
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, then you are welcome to enjoy a meal at any of the
Disney resorts or
Disney Springs.Julie, have the most magical holiday time ever! If you have more questions about Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, please stop by and visit with us again soon.
Happy planning,
Korliss
