For the Very Merry Christmas Party, what time do the events take place (like live performances, meet & greets, fireworks, parade, & snow)? We have very young children so are debating whether to get these xtra tix if they occur later

Hello Kathryn, thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a lot of fun but I do see your concern because of your young children.  The party festivities officially starts at 7:00p.m. but you can enter the park at 4:00p.m. with your party ticket.  The official times guide hasn't been released yet however based on previous years this is what I would plan on:
    • Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade 8:15p.m., 10:30p.m.
    • Celebrate the Magic 9:15p.m.
    • Holiday Wishes-Celebrate the Spirit of the Season 9:30p.m.
    • A totally Tomorrowland Christmas 7:45p.m., 8:45p.m., 9:55p.m., 10:50p.m., 11:45p.m.

Again, please keep in mind this is based on previous years and anything can change but this will give you a pretty good estimate.  Meet and greets and snow on Main Street U.S.A. will run the entire evening. You'll also be able to get complimentary cookies and hot chocolate throughout the night as well.

I think if you utilize being able to enter the park around 4:00 and then do the early set of events, the party just might be worth it for your family.

I hope this helps.  If you have any other questions, please come back and ask.  Happy planning!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
