Hi Brandi! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy you found us and sent your question our way!
I just returned from a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation and went to
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! I'm so excited for you and your family to go! Because all guests with tickets to this special event can enter
Magic Kingdom Park beginning at 4:00 p.m., you will likely experience a little bit of a wait to scan when entering the park. Given this and the time it will take to walk to
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, it will be at least 30 minutes past your reservation. Unfortunately, this would be too late to arrive and I would hate for your princess or prince to be disappointed to miss their royal transformation. I would suggest checking for a later time beyond 4:00 or, if you can, checking for a different date.
Because you are attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, I have a few tips for you! I would suggest getting family photos taken at the fun holiday photo locations early in the evening. You can find the locations in the party guide which can be picked up as you enter the theme park. I would also recommend visiting as many complimentary hot cocoa and cookie locations as possible. The cookies vary at each location and make for a yummy late-night snack back at your resort too! Another tip is to watch
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade in Liberty Square or Frontierland. There are lots of great spots to watch and it isn't typically very crowded. There was also some live entertainment in front of
The Diamond Horseshoe while we waited for the parade to start and it was a great way to pass the time!
I'm wishing you the merriest vacation at The Most Magical Place on Earth! If you have more planning questions, we would love to help you at
planDisney. I hope you will visit us again!
Happy Holiday Planning!
Smiles,
Lisa
