For 2024 very merry Christmas party, can I just purchase event tickets and enter at 4pm or do I have to have a day park ticket as well?

    Greetings, Kendra!

Thank you for visiting planDisney. We are thrilled you are here! Magic Kingdom Park certainly knows how to throw a party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a great way to get in the holiday spirit. After all, what's better than the most wonderful time of the year at the Most Magical Place on Earth?

I am excited to tell you that tickets for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party allow you to enter Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4:00 PM. The party doesn't officially start until 7:00 PM, so this feature gives you the opportunity to enjoy a few extra hours of magic. It's a great time to get that daytime photo in front of Cinderella Castle or eat an early dinner before the party festivities begin.

While it doesn't get much more iconic than "snow" on Main Street, U.S.A., the entertainment during the party is incredible. Be sure not to miss Minnie's Wonderful Christmas Time Fireworks Show or Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. You'll also find some of the attractions decked out for the holidays such as the Jingle Cruise (instead of the traditional Jungle Cruise.)

The party is so much fun, it will be over before you know it. As the saying goes, time flies when you're having fun! In order to cherish those jolly memories forever make sure to use Disney PhotoPass Service to capture your festive fun! I seek the photographers out during parties especially because they typically have special holiday props and magic shots available. Plus, the festive decorations are a wonderful backdrop!

Last, no Christmastime trip is complete to Walt Disney World Resort without stopping by Disney's  Grand Floridian Resort & Spa lobby or one of the other Disney Resort Collections Hotels that boast a holiday gingerbread display. They are amazing to look at, but the real treat is how incredible they make the lobbies smell. If you want to watch just how unbelievable these displays are here is a time-lapse video of the gingerbread house being constructed

Have a wonderful time planning your Disney vacation, Kendra, and please stop by with any other questions you may have.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren
