    When is the very merry Christmas party and when can we buy the tickets? Are there nights that are usually less crowded?

    Hi Tracy!

    Just within the last two weeks Disney announced the dates for the MIckey's Very Merry Christmas Party. This special event held in the Magic Kingdom each year will begin on November 9 and continue on specific days until December 22. There are plenty of nights to select a time to go and enjoy some holiday spirit and magic. Tickets likely will go on sale in the next month. Watch the Disney Parks Blog for updates about this and all Disney happenings.

    It is always hard to judge crowds for these special event parties. My suggestion is to purchase a ticket that is not on a weekend. Tuesday is my choice with Thursday and Sunday's my next preferences. Friday night can tend to bring out more local guests so I avoid that day if possible. Sundays are hit or miss with many guests departing on that day but many more arriving so you never know what the crowds will be like. In any case they will only sell so many tickets for each night so it is never really crowded in the park.

    Enjoy your holiday magic at the party and don't miss the snow falling on Main Street and the great holiday parade.
