When the Very Merry Christmas Parties have ended, will the Christmas Parade move to the afternoon, as it has done in the past. I'm asking because of the current Fantasy Parade. I arrive on 12/24. Will I get to see both parades?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Maureen ~

You will be visiting Walt Disney World during the most magical time of the year! The resorts and parks are gorgeous decked out for the Christmas holidays!

The last evening for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party for 2014 is December 19th. The online parks calendar shows that beginning December 20th, Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade will be featured as the afternoon parade through December 31, 2014. During that time, the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade will not be held.

Beginning January 1, 2015, the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade will return as the afternoon parade. If you want to see the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade, you will need to plan to visit the Magic Kingdom before December 20, 2014 or on or after January 1, 2015.

Planning ahead, especially during peak seasons, is a very smart thing to do. You can find the entertainment schedule for the day you plan to visit the Magic Kingdom by clicking on the online calendar link. Once you reach that page, select Magic Kingdom. You will see the entertainment times for the current date and a small calendar icon. Click on that calendar icon and select your date of visit and it should bring up the entertainment schedule.

Please keep in mind that entertainment schedules are always subject to change. Be sure to pick up a printed Times Guide as you enter the Magic Kingdom. I would recommend building in some additional wait time to your plans during that week as crowd levels are traditionally high.

Please feel free to visit us again with any other questions. We will be hEAR for you up until you embark on your pixie dusted trail!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
