    Is Merriest Nights returning to Disneyland this year? We are traveling from CT for a weeklong visit beginning on Nov. 8th and cant get a straight answer from Disney. It is very difficult to finalize plans. I have been watching the blog- no information

    I completely understand your situation, and I’m so sorry you haven’t been able to finalize your plans for your November visit just yet. So far, we haven’t heard any confirmation about if or when Disney Merriest Nites will be returning this year. My best recommendation is to continue watching the Disney Parks Blog, as you’ve been doing. The other place I also check is on Disneyland.com, under Special Event Tickets, since this is where any upcoming events will be listed. 

    To give you an idea of timing, last year, the Disney Parks Blog announced Disney Merriest Nites on September 10, 2021, so I’m guessing that if this event is returning, we’ll be hearing some news very soon. Disney Merriest Nites tickets went on sale starting September 14, and the event nights were November 11, November 16, November 30, December 7, and December 9. My family and I have also been wondering when we’ll hear more about the future of Disney Merriest Nites and potential ticket sales. We attended the event last year, and are crossing our fingers we’ll get to experience it again! I’m sure hoping we have more information for you soon, Rosemary!

    While we’re waiting, here’s what we do know: The Disneyland Resort will transform into The Merriest Place on Earth from November 11, 2022, through January 8, 2023! In addition, the Disney Parks Blog announced that both “Believe… In Holiday Magic” fireworks and “World of Color – Season of Light” will be returning to the parks this holiday season! I can’t wait to see these heartwarming nighttime spectaculars once again!
