Welcome to planDisney, Sharon!
I really do think that December is "the most wonderful time of the year" to visit the Disneyland Resort. There's nothing quite like catching that first glimpse of Main Street, U.S.A., decked out for the Christmas season. I love just strolling through the parks, listening to all the festive music and smelling all the delicious seasonal treats. And, of course, there's the
Haunted Mansion with its famous Nightmare Before Christmas overlay! I'm very excited for you, Sharon.
However, unfortunately, Disney’s Merriest Nites will not be returning this year. I'm sorry that this isn't the news you wanted to hear. Nevertheless, there is still so much to experience and enjoy this
Christmas season. For example,
Disney Festival of Holidays is returning this year at Disney California Adventure Park. You'll be able to taste delicious food and drink at the
Festive Food Marketplace and enjoy fantastic entertainment with
Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Many attractions throughout the parks will be decked out for the holidays, like Mater’s Jingle Jamboree, Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl, and "it's a small world" Holiday.
I always look forward to the nighttime spectaculars during the Christmas season.
World of Color - Season of Light and
"Believe... In Holiday Magic" Fireworks are sure to be an explosion of Disney joy.
And, of course, one mustn't forget
Wintertime Enchantment at Sleeping Beauty's Winter Castle.
I hope that gets you excited about your upcoming trip, Sharon. Thanks for stopping by planDisney.
