Does the Mermaid room have the option of two king beds or two queen? Are the sleeping areas seperate? Thanks!

Hi Karen.  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Disney's Art of Animation Resort is truly spectacular! I think you and your family will love it!  The Little Mermaid section of the resort offers standard Value rooms. They contain either one King bed or two Double beds in a standard hotel room layout.  If you require a separate sleeping area, you will want to consider one of the Family Suites at Art of Animation, which have a separate bedroom with a Queen bed and bathroom, and 2 Double sized sleepers in the living/dining area. These Family Suites also offer a second bathroom, and kitchenette with dining table.  My family stayed in one of the Cars Family Suites and we absolutely loved it!  If you click the link I provided above, you can see descriptions and pictures for each of the available rooms at Disney's Art of Animation Resort.

I hope this information helps to clarify the sleeping arrangements at Art of Animation Resort.  I would be happy to answer any other questions you may have while planning your Walt Disney World vacation, so please don't hesitate to ask me.  Have a magical day!
