    I have a mermaid makeover booked for my daughter at 11:30 am. What is reasonable time to make a lunch reservation at the Crystal Palace? Would a 2:00 be OK?

    A mermaid makeover at The Pirates League is so much fun and I'm sure your daughter is really going to enjoy it!   Makeovers typically take around thirty minutes, but I have seen it take up to 2 hours depending on what time of year you are visiting Walt Disney World.  Expect much longer waits the weeks of Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.  Halloween is also a busy time for the pirates, as many people are wanting to receive makeovers for the Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. I think, even during a busy time of year, a dining reservation at The Crystal Palace (which is one of my favorites) for 2:00 should give you plenty of time for your daughter's makeover before enjoying your lunch.  Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help plan your next Walt Disney World vacation!
