Merida has become so popular since the release of BRAVE!! My 6yr old DD loves her!!! We are coming in Dec 2012. Any info about Merida being added to the line-up at Akershus?? We dine there every trip & she would be a great addition with the princesses!

Merida is a popular princess in our household also. I love the positive example she sets for my girls. An amazing archer and horseback rider who takes charge of her fate, this princess also learns form her mistakes and apologizes and mends her errors with love and action.

The Akershus Royal Banquet Hall seems the perfect setting for Merida doesn't it? Currently I have not heard of the Scottish lass being added to the Princess Storybook Dining but her addition is certainly a possibility. Merida currently has her own meet and greet spot in the Magic Kingdom's Fantasyland. Located to the right of Cinderella Castle the Fairytale Garden houses Merida in her own tapestry covered tableau that includes the princess, archery lessons, a coloring spot, and animatronic bear cubs.

Hope your princess has a lovely encounter with Merida.
