How do I merge two disneyland app accounts?

Hey there, Melisa! Sending you a big ol’ welcome to planDisney!

In today’s connected world, it's easy to end up with a few different accounts. I even have an online account to help manage my other online accounts! Trust me, I totally get wanting to get everything organized for your next visit to the Disneyland Resort.

Before we dive into merging accounts, I just wanted to touch on a common situation: if you're hoping to consolidate tickets from two accounts into one—perhaps a friend or family member purchased tickets under their account, and you'd like to see all your tickets together in one convenient place—that's a super easy process to link them, and it can be done in just a few short steps right in the Disneyland mobile app

We’ll get to that in a moment, but since you're specifically asking about merging two Disneyland app accounts, let's start with that. Unfortunately, there isn't a way to merge accounts yourself online. But fear not, Melisa! A friendly Cast Member can help work some magic for you! Just give them a call at the App & Online Support line. In just a few minutes, they should be able to help you get everything squared away and humming along like the Mark Twain Riverboat.

As I mentioned earlier, if you're simply hoping to add someone else's tickets to your account, there's a wonderfully easy way to do that directly in the Disneyland mobile app. You can link tickets to your account in a few simple steps. Just open up your Disneyland app, tap the menu (☰) button at the bottom of the screen, and select "My Tickets & Passes". Next, you'll tap the blue plus (+) sign at the top right, followed by "Link Tickets & Passes". From there, you can either scan the tickets' barcodes on the "Camera" tab, or hop over to the "Type ID" tab and manually enter the ID numbers found on each ticket. Just like magic, those tickets will appear right in your account!

Melisa, here are a couple of extra tips for making the most of your Disneyland app experience. If you're traveling with family or friends, it often helps to have one person's account as the "lead" where everyone's tickets are linked. This makes it super simple to scan all tickets from one device for park entry, make Lightning Lane Multi Pass selections, and keep track of Disney PhotoPass photos. Also, consider using Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering for your dining! It's a huge time-saver, allowing you to order and pay for food and drinks right from your phone at many locations throughout the parks. You'll thank yourself for skipping those lines when your stomach is rumbling, letting you get back to the magic faster!

I hope this helps you get everything squared away, Melisa! Having all your plans in one place in the Disneyland app makes it so much easier to enjoy every magical moment of your visit, from ordering your favorite snacks on the go, to checking wait times for attractions. If any other questions pop up, remember, we're all ears here at planDisney!
