how do i merge Disney gift cards

Welcome to planDisney, Jeffrey! We are so happy to have you here as you plan your Walt Disney World vacation. By the way, thanks for GIFTing us a great question!

You have the right idea for how to avoid a wallet full of Disney gift cards: combine them all together onto one Disney Gift Card! Once you create an account on the Disney Gift Card website, up to $1000.00 can be placed on a single card. You can establish one card as your "primary card" and then add the other gift card amounts to it.

Once you access your account, you'll be able to manage multiple cards, merging the balances. You will need the 16-digit account number and 8-digit Security Code from each card to add to your account. The directions say that you’ll choose the card you wish to transfer the other cards to, select “Add Funds from Another Card” and then follow the instructions. Easy peasy!

Hold onto the used primary gift card because any unused funds can be placed back on the card at the end of your vacation. Well, if I’m being honest, this typically doesn’t happen to me because I tend to go overboard in spending my Disney dollars!

Jeffrey, the panelists at planDisney are at your service and ready to be in CHARGE of your Disney planning questions. We’re always happy to SPEND lots of time chatting about Walt Disney World. Wishing you a fantastic vacation!

    See ya real soon!
